Councilor Ward III
Kevin Hohnbaum
After 24 years publishing, editing, and marketing newspapers, Hohnbaum pursued his love of serving the community, left his position as Associate Publisher of the Beaverton Valley Times and began a new career in hospice. He is currently the Senior Business Development Manager for Housecall Providers, a non-profit agency providing hospice, in-home primary care and palliative care. Hohnbaum is a certified Hospice and Palliative Care Administrator and holds a Professional Certificate in Non-Profit Fundraising from Portland State University.
Hohnbaum has served on and led numerous local and national boards including the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s Development, Public Relations and Marketing council, the American Marketing Association, Beaverton Chamber of Commerce and the Oregon Club of the Willamette Valley. He spent 8 years serving on the Lincoln City Budget Committee and currently leads the board of directors for the Lincoln Pops Big Band.
Hohnbaum and his wife, Jane Mulholland, have owned a home in Lincoln City for 15 years and lived here full-time for 8 years. They have grandkids in the Lincoln City school district and love sharing the history and vibrancy of our community with them. They are avid Oregon Duck fans, hikers, lead regular mission trips to Mexico and love to travel, explore new places and meet people. They volunteer for NOAA and do a regular marine debris survey on a section of beach in Taft. They also volunteer for the Oregon Shores Conservation Coalition and have adopted a mile of beach between Taft and Nelscott.
