Resolution 2026-05 Helping Hands 2026 Payment Waiver – Should the City Council approve waiver of Helping Hands’ 2026 note installment payment of $13,333.33 pursuant to Council Resolution 2020-02? – Requested that city staff provide some more information before deciding on the resolution.

SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS
Fourth of July Fireworks Show 2026 – What considerations should staff put in place for the fireworks show on July 4, 2026? – Directed staff to work with Western Display on a firework show with 8 inch mortars for up to 20 minutes duration.

2026 Council Goals – Should the City Council adopt goals for 2026: Strengthening the Council’s Relationship with the Public & Advisory Bodies; Develop a consistent, accessible, and comprehensive onboarding program that supports new members and evolves the Council’s culture as membership changes; Create a Clear, Consistent, and Transparent Council Workflow? – Approved to adopt the three council goals.
