The City receives funding requests from local non-profits each year as part of its budget preparation process. Once the City Council has approved the budget, City Council reviewed the applications and selected which agencies to receive funds.
"I am grateful that our city budget has allocated $200,000 for grants to non-profit agencies. These non-profits provide services to our community beyond the scope of what our city can do. This year we have been able to award grants to many local non-profits, which I hope will assist them in their missions," said Mayor Susan Wahlke.
Members of the public and the media are welcome to attend the presentation ceremony.
