The Cradle and Half Pipe

The Lincoln City Skate Park's first phases were built in 1999 by Dreamland Skateparks.  At the time, it was billed as the "gnarliest" skate park in America by Thrasher Magazine and given a rating of "9" out of a possible "10".

It now has four seperate bowls:  the Moguls Bowl, The Cradle and Half Pipe (covered against the elements), the Swimming Pool featuring tight transitions, and the newest addition, the Snake Run.  If you Google Lincoln City Skate Park, you can check out a video on YouTube.com.

SKATEBOARDS ONLY are allowed.

Bikes, scooters, in-line skate are NOT permitted to be used in the park.

The Skate Park is not supervised and is open from dawn to dusk.

Youth under age 16 must wear  a helmet.

ORS 814.600:
Failure of a skateboarder to wear protective headgear; penalty.  A person commits the offense of failure of a skateboarder to wear protective headgear if the person is under 16 years of age, rides on a skateboard on a highway or on premises open to the public.

 

 

From Hwy 101, turn east on NE 22nd St (Dairy Queen on the corner).  Turn left immediately past the ball fields and you're there!

 

For non-profit groups, the charge is $250 per day.  If you are a commercial organization, the rate is $500 per day.  A Facilities Use Agreement form will be required.  Forms are also available at the Lincolbn City Community Center front desk.  If park is not left in the condition in which it was found, your group/organization will be billed for time and materials neccesary to restore it to good condition.
